What Is Security Verification?

We implement a second account verification step (or two-factor authentication) when signing in or making significant changes to your profile. This important and necessary functionality helps protect your account and keeps your information safe.

When you attempt to sign in or make an important change to your profile, such as changing your email address, a verification email with a unique code will be sent to the email address associated with your profile. If you are changing your email address, the verification code will be sent to the new email address. This code will need to be entered on the Security Verification page to continue.

If you didn't receive the email, please ensure your email address is correct, your email address is valid and accessible, and the verification email is not in your spam folder. You can also have the code resent by clicking Resend the verification code.
Can I Stop Security Verification?

The next time you input a verification code on a secure, personal device, you can select Don't ask again on this computer. This setting will only apply to the device or computer you are currently active on when selecting this option. We only advise this step be taken if you are working on a device or computer that only you have access to.
